BIOSAFETY CABINET

A biosafety cabinet (BSC)—also called a biological safety cabinet or microbiological safety cabinet—is an enclosed, ventilated laboratory workspace for safely working with materials contaminated with (or potentially contaminated with) pathogens requiring a defined biosafety level. AIR SHOWER

Air shower is a necessary passage for person or goods entering into the clean room in order to minimize the amount of particulate contaminants. Personnel move through the air shower while particulate contaminants are blew off by the clean high velocity. The high air velocity of 25m/s ensures the efficiency. Contaminated air is then taken in through the base of the unit, filtered and re-circulated into the chamber.

HEPA BOX

HEPA box is a terminal filtration device with side and vertical configured air supply. It consists of a static pressure box, HEPA filter and diffused hole plate. A range of finishes are available, including cold rolled steel, stainless steel 201 / 304, and powder coated steel for user choice.

It is installed at the same level of the ceiling where a HEPA filter is fixed inside the box to produce the required cleanliness in its specified classification. It creates turbulent flow to ensure a good mixture of dust-free air in the environment.

FAN FILTER UNIT

A fan filter unit (FFU) is a type of motorized air filtering equipment. It is used to supply purified air to cleanrooms, laboratories, medical facilities or microenvironments by removing harmful airborne particles from recirculating air. The units are installed within the system’s ceiling or floor grid. Large cleanrooms require a proportionally large number of FFUs, which in some cases may range from several hundred to several thousand. Units often contain their own pre-filter, HEPA filter and internally controllable fan air distribution.

SAMPLING & DISPENSING BOOTH (RLAF)

The Weighing Booth, also known as Negative Pressure Room is a dedicated local decontamination unit that conforms to the latest version of GMP for the production of sterile formulation. It provides a vertical unidirectional airflow with a fraction (80% – 90%) of clean air circulating through the working area, and another fraction (10% – 20%) discharged to the vicinity of the working area to provide negative pressure to prevent dust spill and cross-contamination in the work area, in order to ensure a high degree of cleanliness of the working environment.

RETURN RAISER FILTER

Return vent filters operate behind the openings of the return vents in your house. They support HVAC system components by removing solid contaminants from the air. As the air is pulled into the return vents, the filter catches contaminants before entering the air stream in the ductwork.
